Caregiver Learning Center: Continuing Education (CE) User Guide

This guide walks you through finding, enrolling in and completing CE courses. Read this guide and log in to the Caregiver Learning Center to see all the CE courses available to you. CE courses are available in these formats:

  • Online: Available any time to take on your schedule.
  • Webinar: Scheduled, instructor-led, online courses you take from home.
  • In-Person: Scheduled on-site, instructor-led training courses.

 

IMPORTANT: You can’t get credit for a course you have previously completed, so it is important to enroll in courses you have not taken before. You can view your completed courses on the [……] page.

Find and Enroll in CE Courses

  1. Click the menu icon and select the Find Courses Page to get started.
  2. Choose between Online or In Person & Webinar Courses.
  3. Use the filter or search to find topics that are relevant to you.
  4. Click on a course to see the course detail page.
  5. Click the Enroll button to enroll in the course.

To see courses available in your preferred language:
On the Find Courses page, click your preferred language link to be directed to a page showing available courses where you can filter or search to find topics that are relevant to you.

Complete an Online Course

  1. Click the menu icon and select the My Courses Page.
  2. You will see a list of courses you are enrolled in. 
  3. Click on the Course that you would like to begin.
  4. Click the Start Learning Now button and follow the instructions to complete the course.

On the Courses Page You Can:

  • See the course description and helpful resources: They are listed on the bottom of the page. Resources are not required for course completion but may be helpful for study or practice.
  • Begin the course: Click the Start Learning Now button and follow the instructions to complete the course.
  • See your progress: The main window will show you where you currently are in the course. You can click the button to continue the course.
  • See Course Materials: View all the materials you need to complete your course.

View Your Scheduled Courses
(Webinar and In-Person classes)

View Your Scheduled Courses

  1. Click the menu icon and select the My Schedule page.
  2. You will see a list of courses you are enrolled in, click on the class to see date, time, location and more.
  3. Follow the instructions below for Webinar or In-person classes.

Get In-Person Class Information

  1. Click the Show More link to see additional details about your class. Your class instructor(s) will be listed in the Instructor(s) area.
  2. Click the Location Map and Details button for a map to the location.
  3. Scroll down to the Resources section to see materials for class that you can print.

Unenroll From a Course

  1. Click the menu icon and select the My Courses page.
  2. Click on the course you would like to unenroll from
  3. On the course page click the unenroll icon in the top right corner of the page.  
  4. You will see a confirmation window. Check the box and click the Confirm button.
  5. You will automatically return to the My Courses page.

Caregiver Learning Center System Maintenance

June 6 (Thursday) – June 10 (Monday)

You can log in, enroll and take your training in the Caregiver Learning Center during this time. 

If you complete training during the System Maintenance, it will be sent to your employer after June 10. 

Please contact your employer if you have questions about your training requirement, deadline or payment.
