Before You Get Started

If you’re new to the Caregiver Learning Center, start with the Getting Started Guide to learn how to access your account, navigate pages and manage your profile.

Enroll in Basic Training 9 

To complete Basic Training 9, you must enroll in and complete the Learning Plan, which includes 4 hours of core courses and 5 hours of elective courses online. You can choose elective courses that are most relative to you and the needs of those you care for.

The Learning Plan includes your core courses that you need to complete.

  1. Once you are logged in, click the Enroll button.
  2. Click the filter to select your preferred language for training.
  3. Click on the Learning Plan box.
  4. Click the Enroll button on the Learning Plan page. You are now enrolled in the Basic Training 9 Learning Plan core courses. You can begin your core training or enroll in your elective courses. 

After enrolling in the Learning Plan, you need to enroll in 5 hours of elective courses.

  1. Click the Enroll button in the Enroll in Elective Courses box on the homepage.
  2. View your required, enrolled and remaining to enroll hours the Training Requirements box. You can use it to confirm that you have enrolled in enough elective courses to meet your required hours.
  3. Click the filter to select your preferred language for training.
  4. Click on a course to see the course detail page.
  5. Click the Enroll button to enroll in the course. You can begin your course or repeat the steps above to enroll in more courses. 

Online Courses

To view Your enrolled courses go to your homepage and scroll down to the Enrolled Courses section to see your enrolled courses and Learning Plan. 

  1. Go to your homepage and click a course to go to the course page.
  2. Click the Begin or Resume button to begin the course.
  3. Follow the instructions to complete the course.

Each course page tracks your progress and includes a course description and downloadable resources at the bottom of the page. You can pause online courses (close the window) and return to it at anytime.

Most online courses start with a pre-assessment to see what you already know and end with a post-assessment to check what you’ve learned. Your course is complete after you finish the post-assessment.

  1. Click the menu icon and select the My Courses page.
  2. Click on the course you would like to unenroll from.
  3. On the course page click the ellipsis (…) in the top right corner and click Unenroll.
  4. In the pop up, click Unenroll.

Member Resource Center (MRC) will be closed from December 24 – January 1.

If you have questions about enrolling or completing your training, contact the MRC before they are closed. The MRC will reopen on January 2.

Caregiver Learning Center System Maintenance

June 6 (Thursday) – June 10 (Monday)

You can log in, enroll and take your training in the Caregiver Learning Center during this time. 

If you complete training during the System Maintenance, it will be sent to your employer after June 10. 

Please contact your employer if you have questions about your training requirement, deadline or payment.
